Maternity photography in Greymouth & around the West Coast

Growing a human is hard, beautiful work and whether you've loved every second of pregnancy or you're well and truly ready to meet this little person, you deserve to have this chapter recorded too.

Maternity sessions can take place in our wee studio in the heart of Greymouth, at home, or out exploring somewhere beautiful around the West Coast.

Your partner, kids and even the fur babies are very welcome to come along — or make the session completely about you and enjoy a little time in front of the camera on your own.

You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands (I promise I'll help with that!).

I'll give you plenty of direction along the way so you can relax, feel good and actually enjoy the experience.

If having your hair and makeup done will make you feel fabulous, I absolutely recommend it.

I'm also happy to point you in the direction of some lovely local people who can help.

Maternity sessions start from $195.

Maternity Photography FAQ's

When is the best time to book a maternity session?

Usually from 32-38 weeks is great, you want to have your bump, but also be comfortable - we can also schedule in closer to your due date if you wish or have just left it til last minute too!

How much does a maternity photoshoot cost?

Maternity sessions are $195 on weekdays or $250 on weekends.

If you’re also booking a newborn session, a shorter Maternity Mini option is available. This is perfect for keeping things simple with one look, either on your own or with your partner.

Your session includes $100 credit towards prints and framing, plus access to our maternity wardrobe.

Digital files are not included in the session fee and are available to purchase separately.

How long does a maternity shoot last?

Maternity sessions range from a quick 15-minute Mini to up to an hour for a Full Session.

A Full Session gives us more time for outfit and styling changes, different looks and locations, and the chance to get creative and make something completely unique to you.

I don't know how to pose?

Don’t even worry about it — you’ve already got the best inbuilt prop with that gorgeous bump! And for everything else, I’ve got you.

I’ll guide you through the whole session, from where to put your hands to the little adjustments that help you look and feel your best. You don’t need to know what you’re doing — that’s my job!
