Couples photography in Greymouth & around the West Coast
You don't need to be engaged, celebrating an anniversary or have any particular reason at all to have photos together.
Maybe you've just got engaged, you're visiting the West Coast together, you want some photos before the wedding, or perhaps you simply haven't had a decent photo together since approximately 2014. Whatever the reason, let's make an adventure of it.
Couples sessions are relaxed, fun and definitely don't involve standing awkwardly in front of the camera wondering what to do with your hands. I'll give you plenty of direction when you need it, but mostly I want you hanging out, laughing and being yourselves.
We can head to one of our beautiful West Coast beaches, explore the Coast Road, disappear into the bush, head somewhere that means something to you, or even keep things relaxed at home.

I’m very happy to go incognito — posing as a tourist with a camera, casually hanging around admiring the scenery... whatever it takes not to give the game away!
We can plan the location, timing and all the sneaky details beforehand.
Couples & Engagement Session pricing
$195 weekdays | $250 weekends
Up to an hour on location, at home or in our Greymouth studio.
This is the perfect session to make a little adventure out of it — so if you've got a wild idea for a location, I want to hear it!
Includes $100 credit towards prints and framing.
Digital files are not included in the session fee and are available separately.
Couples and Engagement FAQ's
This is the thing I hear most! You don't need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera - that's my job. I'll give you direction when you need it and keep things moving so you're not left standing there wondering what on earth to do with your hands.
The aim is to get you interacting with each other rather than performing for me — and usually it doesn't take long before you forget about the camera.
Of course! Fur babies are absolutely welcome — they're part of your story too.
Location ideas??
We are so lucky to have so many epic spots right on our doorstep — any of the beaches along the Coast Road, one of our beautiful lakes, down by the river, on the family farm, or we can even climb (or fly!) up a mountain.
Bonus points if it’s somewhere that means something to the two of you.
